Margaret Doyle unveils the new Mission Statement of Our Lady and St Hubert’s Primary School. The Mission Statement is in the form of a mosaic and will take a prominent position in the school.

Retiring Headteachers
Canon McBride celebrated Mass at Salford Cathedral on Thursday June 12th for our retiring headteachers. Pictured are Sue McAvady, Anne Thornton and Stuart Almond who attended with their families, friends and members of staff. We thank them for their years of service to our diocesan schools and wish them a long, happy and peaceful retirement.
Celebrations at St John's
9 pupils from 4 families were baptised and 17 children were confirmed at the same ceremony on Thursday 17th April. It was a wonderful celebration. In the past four years 34 pupils have been baptised from our school.
Newly Qualified Teachers
Canon McBride celebrated Mass at Salford Cathedral on Thursday 11 October 2007 for forty of our NQTs along with their parents, headteachers and mentors. During mass the NQTs stood to commit themselves to their vocation. It was a memorable evening and a special occasion for our new young teachers. Refreshments were enjoyed in the cloisters and everyone was able to chat and socialise. We wish them all every success in their careers in Salford Diocese.
